An initiative of Relay Graduate School of Education, a nationally accredited, nonprofit institution of higher education, we’ve helped thousands of people become passionate teachers who are inspiring the next generation of changemakers.

Teaching Experience:First and third grades in Denver Public Schools
When I Was in College:I was a Camp Texas counselor at UT, mentoring incoming freshman at a summer leadership camp in the Texas Hill Country.
Fun Facts:I am the proud pet parent to two cats and one puppy. I am a big UT Longhorn and UW Husky fan.

Teaching Experience:High school special education
When I Was in College:I worked on an exciting HR project aimed at developing recruitment strategies while working at JPMorgan Chase.
Fun Facts:I collect classic jazz and blues records and love to go fishing when I can find time.

When I Was in College:I volunteered as an art therapy mentor working with youth after school, and as an honors program mentor (teaching assistant) for American studies.
Fun Facts:My favorite animals are penguins and I take weekly pottery classes.

When I Was in College:My most memorable college experience was attending the Student Congress on Racial Reconciliation conference to celebrate diversity with other students.
Fun Facts:I love painting and working out when I have time. I’m still a supporter of the Oregon Ducks football team as well!

When I Was in College:I was an Upward Bound counselor, a lifeguard, and the president of Campus Pals, a group that provided support to incoming freshmen.
Fun Facts:I play guitar, piano, and drums, and I am currently writing a book.

Professional Experience:I previously worked as a recruitment coordinator for People’s Preparatory Charter School in New Jersey.
When I Was in College:I went on a life-changing Alternative Spring Break trip to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, where I was able to help with recovery efforts.
Fun Facts:I coach high school girls’ basketball and I’m an optimistic fan of the New York Knicks. I often think that characters on TV shows and movies are my real friends.

Professional Experience: I served as Director of Projects at Leadership Prep Bedford-Stuyvesant (Brooklyn, NY) for 5 years; I currently serve as Treasurer of the Board for Trillium Charter School in Portland, OR.
Fun Facts:I grew up on an organic farm outside of Portland. I love to snowboard, rock climb, and play guitar.

Teaching Experience:Middle School Math Teacher, Houston Independent School District
Professional Experience: I worked at Bain and Company as a management consultant and the Posse Foundation as a trainer.
Fun Facts:When not looking for great future teachers, I can be found walking around East Nashville, volunteering at my kids' school, or reading and writing.

Professional Experience: I previously worked for the New York City Department of Education, McGraw-Hill/The Grow Network, Prudential Financial, and Yahoo.
Fun Facts:In my spare time, I love running, tennis, yoga, and playing the guitar.

Teaching Experience:Middle School Science Teacher, Roxbury Preparatory Charter School in Boston
Professional Experience: I was Founding Principal of Excellence Boys Charter School, an all-boys K-8 school in Brooklyn, NY.
Fun Facts:I am an avid street photographer, retired break-dancer, husband, father, and philosopher.
Education:Spelman College, Harvard Graduate School of Education
Teaching Experience:4th and 5th grade teacher in Atlanta
Professional Experience: I was the founding planner for a teaching residency program and served as a school system consultant with a focus on improving teacher quality.
